Zeke Miller, of TIME, falsely reported that Trump removed an MLK bust on his first day in office. TIME issued an apology. The damage was already done on Twitter, though. (thousands of likes/retweets) Here is a link to Twitter discussing the MLK Bust from 1/16/17-1/22/17.
Notice the blue check mark accounts are still able to have both the false tweet and their accounts up even after the lie.
